Panda Amigurumi

Sup humans,

So It's summer break and I've just been crocheting and watching anime all day! I'm so productive........nah. Anyway inspired by the panda beanie with some leftover yarn I made a cute little panda. For some reason to me it looks kinda like a mouse... Anyway, hope this finds you well XD

Panda Pattern:


Materials:

YARN {type:I used acrylic but any should be fine}:
White Black
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Stitch marker {A Paper Clip is fine}

Black Beads/safety eyes Stuffing
3mm {Japan:5/0, U.K.:11} size crochet hook
Your inner crooked meowzel


HEAD: White

Magic Circle, 6sc, slp st in first sc

R1: Ch1, inc around (12 sc)
R2: [sc, inc] around (18 sc)
R3: [2 sc, inc] around (24 sc)
R4: [3 sc, inc] around (30 sc)
R5-R8: sc around (30sc)
R9: [3 sc, dec] around (24 sc)
Begin Stuffing
R10: [2 sc, dec] around (18 sc)
R11: [sc, dec] around (12 sc)
R12: dec around, slp st in first sc (6 sc)

Finish off, stitch opening closed, leave end tail for sewing on.

BODY: White

Magic Circle, 6 sc, slp st in first sc (6 sc)

R1: Ch 1, inc around (12 sc)
R2: [sc, inc] around (18 sc)
R3: [2 sc, inc] around (24 sc)
R4-R7: sc around (24 sc)
R8: [2sc, dec] around (18 sc)
Begin Stuffing
R9: [sc, dec] around (12 sc)
R10: dec around, slp st into first sc (6 sc)

Finish off, stitch opening closed. 

ARMS AND LEGS: Black (Make 4)

Magic Circle, 6 sc, slp st in first sc (6 sc)

R1: Ch 1, inc around (12 sc)
R2-R3: Sc around (12 sc)
R4: dec around, slp st in first sc (6 sc)

Finish off, leave end tail for sewing on.


EARS [make 2]: Black


Magic Circle, 6sc, slp st in first sc

R1: Ch1, inc around (12 sc)
R2: Sc around (12 sc)
R3: sc around, slp st in first sc (18 sc)


Finish off, leave end tail for sewing on.

Assembly:
Look at the picture for guidance
  • Sew head to body, stacked
  • Sew the ears across from
    each other starting at the
    end of round 1
  • Sew on arms and limbs, 2
    coming out at the front, 2
    coming out from the sides
  • Sew on black beads/safety
    eyes for eyes
  • Use black yarn for mouth in
    a “v” shape
